I received this product much quicker than expected. The first film had a ton of bubbles that I could not remove, but this was my fault, the area I was in had a bit of dust in the area. I then went on to the second film and it installed flawlessly. No bubbles, no problems. I am very happy with this product and will most likely order another set to have on hand.

I have tried 2 brands other than this Splash Masque for my iPad, and I have to say that this one is the best among all 3 - price, ease of installation, quality, and the end result. I have a hard enough time applying screen protectors on my phone, so I was skeptical of getting a good result with my iPad. I tried Zagg first, that was a complete disaster. Bought the Zagg at Best Buy and I was honestly infuriated at the expensive price tag for a worthless product. Next I tried Speck's Shield View, those were slightly better than Zagg but the end result of almost as bad. They were difficult to apply without getting bubbles all over the screen. Finally I decided to give the Splash Masque a try given its reviews and the $10+ price point. I have to admit that these are by far the best value for money. The quality of the film is solid, and it stays pretty straight during application. Once applied, I got 2-3 bubbles around the edges, which were easily pushed out without any trouble. I have had these on my iPad for about a week or so now and it's impossible to tell that it's even there, it is such a perfect fit! The only downside is that it does accumulate fingerprints as much as the iPad screen itself. Other than this issue, these are perfect. I'm a sucker for good value and I am thrilled with myself when I find it!

I've been installing screen protectors to cell phones, PDAs, iPods, etc, etc, since I've owned a Windows CE based PDA many many years ago. I'd rate Splash Masque screen protector for iPad one of the easiest I've used so far. In fact, it took me longer to apply another brand of protector to my iPod Touch compared to installing this one to iPad. The package is nice, instructions are clear (pun intended) and it comes with a cleaning cloth and a little card to push out bubles. I've seen some protectors that are just too thin, and while you are holding the corner to position it over the screen, the corner bends ruining the protector. This is NOT one of them; it is sturdy.
Needless to say, you have to be patient and take your time with it. The most critical point is removing any speck of dust from the screen. Even if you dont get any air bubbles, specks of dust will raise the protector with a nice halo around it. Just clean it with the included cloth until you cant see any specks with a flash light, keep a Dust-Off handy and use gloves if you have 'em. I know it sounds like a surgical operation, but if this ensures putting the protector down at the first try without any hassles, then it's worth it :)

These screen protectors are simply fantastic. They are easy to apply, completely transparent, and come in a pack of 3 so you have some leeway if you botch up the first install! The quality of the film is nice and just thick enough to hold on well during installation, yet it allows for the touchscreen feature of the iPad to be used without any adverse impact to the sensitivity at all. I got only one tiny bubble on the edges, but that is covered by my case. Given the screen size of the iPad, I am very happy with how easy this was to install. I now have 2 spare films for future use!
